Carters little liver pills, Jubblies, snobs,liberty bodices,spud guns.
Azza-you do see marbles(they are now sold with a booklet explaining the rules of the games), skipping ropes (although you seldom see children skipping on the street-they are confined to their own gardens for their safety), and you do see snuff in little round tins (I know a shop which still stock them-mainly sold to senior ladies!).
Iceboy-you still can buy broken biscuits in Heanor! They are now called mis shapes! You can still get good chips at a chippy near me-cooked in lard-and they also sell home made rabbit pies!
