 what did you watch on ya telly in the 50s and 60s

Whirligig was on at Saturday teatime -I think H.L. was Peter Butterworth-but not sure. Sometimes Mr Pastry used to be on the show-along with string puppets-Mr Beetroot and Mr Turnip.
