Probabley the Accumulator lasted a couple of weeks as Azza said it was how often you used it.They where made out of Glass about 6 to 7 inches high and square shaped when Bill had them on charge you could see the acid inside bubbling.Just for the record this was Bill Phillips Senior father of Bill who had the bike shop at the bottom of Bridge Street
