Langley Mill/Aldercar School Teachers
replied on: 8/12/2005 10:45:23 PM

I am not old enough to know many of the teachers you have mentioned but I do remember a few..

Aldercar - Mr Calladine (was my first form tutor for half a term before he retired, I liked him)

Mr Bainbridge - Was recently my exam officer when I went back to school (he couldnt resist a crack at me for being there amongst the kids!)

Langley Mill Juniors - Mr Stockdale I vaguely remember as I 'think' his daughter Emma was in the year above me.

Mr Hill - Looking really weird now (never forget his long curly locks!) Cannot believe he is still there.

Langley Mill Infants

Miss Mills - My first ever teacher, loved her to bits, she was also two of my eldest childrens first teacher and sadly retired at the emd of last term.

Mrs Riley - became headmistress - known by us as the dragon, nobody wanted to sit at her table.

Mrs Rimmington - Became headmistress after Mrs Riley, now retired

Mrs Stevenson - Very nice and kind.

Funnily enough I even remember the dinnerladies I had here -
Mrs Smith - The kindest little lady I have ever met.

Mrs Price - Forced me to eat mushy peas because I forgot to get a note from my mum, everybody feared her.
