Sorry-I'd forgotten I put some of the shops on another topic!!!! Another "Senior Moment".
The coop printed it's own calendar each year-each month had a black and white photograph of somewhere in the locality.
There was also the Coop "Mutuality Man" who collected house to house (on Fri evening)-I don't really know how that worked, I think it was some sort of saving? or credit? scheme, because every so often he gave out vouchers which you could spend at the Coop stores.
