Wagon Train

A very good, most of the time, Wild-West Pioneering adventure. Generally very enjoyable and interesting to watch, especially for the genuine 'Great Outdoor' scenes. It was acted and filmed as near to the original Wild-West conditions as possible.
'Big' name weekly guests appeared to fit in well with the '1860's action.

Major Seth Adams - Ward Bond.
Flint McCullough - Robert Horton.
Chris Hale - John McIntire.
Bill Hawks - Terry Wilson.
Charlie Wooster - Frank McGrath.
Duke Shannon - Scott Miller.
Cooper Smith - Robert Fuller.
Barnaby West - Michael Burns.

A great Western. If only they knew how to make such interesting serials today - the TV licence might just be worth it.
'Wagon Train, keep on rolling.......'.

ITV/BBC 1958 to 1964.
