favourite radio program of early years

I remember The Clitheroe Kid on the radio-was it on about midday on Sundays-I seem to remember on Sundays listening to Clitheroe Kid, Billy Cotton Band Show (with Edmundo Ross??)Pick of the pops -Alan Fluff Freeman (4pm) and then the dreaded Sing Something Simple.
Can anyone remember any radio shows with David jacobs? I only remember Juke Box Jury, but that was on TV!
