replied on: 9/8/2005 12:28:08 AM Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Traction Company IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PASSENGERS Ripley-Nottingham Trolley Vehicle Service On and after Thursday October 5th 1932 a service of Trolley Vehicles will be operated between Ripley and Nottingham on the present Petrol Bus route to Cinderhill then via Stockhill Lane,Percy Street,Alpine Street, Church Street, Valley Road, Nottingham Road, Sherwood Rise, Mansfield Road, Milton Street,Parliament Street, King Street and Queen Street, the City Terminus being in King St. Trolley Vehicles will run between Ripley and the city terminus as under: Monday to Friday Every 15 mins from 5am to 6-30am Every 10 mins from 6-30am to 9am Every 15 mins from 9am to 4pm Every 10 mins from 4pm to 7pm Every 15 mins from 7pm to 11pm Saturday: as above until noon, then every 10 mins until 11pm Sunday:Every 15 mins from 9am to 11pm Printed time tables may be obtained from the Petrol Bus Conductors. In addition to the above service of Trolley Vehicles, Petrol Buses will run at workers times to serve those factories on Nuthall Road and Alfreton Road between Stockhill Lane and Canning Circus only. Special note- The Petrol Bus facilities will be extremely limited, and passengers are strongly recommended to make use of the Trolley Vehicles.
