Thats exactly what I was looking for, thanks . I have some past ancestors that said they was born in Dunstead, Derbyshire but I never knew where abouts it was. Only that it was possibly somewhere in Heanor. Thanks for clearing that up for me, it was driving me mad trying to find out about it. At last I have some information on it.

Is it still called Dunstead these days? Or is it just known locally as Aldercar?
