It was indeed the old ambulance station and after that was owned by the county council as part of Shipley park. It was used at that point as a depot for the country park vehicles and maitanence team. Whether that is the case now after the new depot was built at the visitor centre I know not. We used to fill the Land Rovers and JCB up there when I worked there, but is was rather prone to break ins and theft. We had to reinforce all the doors with steel.
