Edwin Revill Shoe repairers.Shop between Edgar Parkers and Heath's Garage opposite Vic Hallams

W Phillips Electrical and Cycles this was
opposite the Midland Hotel double fronted shop and was run by W Phillips the father of young Bill who had a shop First in Teathers old Chip Shop and then at the corner of Bridge Street.

H Smithson Chemist.
Corner of Station Road and Dunstead Road
opposite the old boys school.

Nellie Outram's Hat Shop on Station Road
about halfway down between Milnhay Road and Elnor Street opposite the pottery

Allens Butchers opposite Teathers Chip Shop before it closed we most likely remember it as Pointers One of the Allen Brothers bought Milnhay House
