I remember Boams being there in the 1940s, but I think they were there well before that. My grandfather had a hand in producing a pushbike they made which they called the RAY in the early 1900s so I was told.

If I remember correctly, in the 50s the bungalow on the site a room was used as a cafe ,I think the owners were the Boams ,but I am not 100%sure of the name

Before moving to The Hardy Barn Site
Shilling and Bridge ran the garage opposite Vic Hallams at Langley Mill in the 1970s

Does anyone have any idea who ran the petrol station on Hardy Barn,I know it is now a car sales,but I cannot remember who ran it or when it closed.
