The Church Hall
replied on: 12/4/2005 1:47:42 PM

Fresh discoveries....

The Mundy Hall was built around 1925, and was a hall for the village church from the outset. Prior to the hall, there had been a tin building, somewhere between the church and the top of Breach Road, that had been used as a bit of a church hall on occasions.

The church itself was built in 1907, but burnt down in 1949, before being rebuilt in 1951 by Sissons.
