Thanks for the info.

Did the family continue as 'lords of the manor' elsewhere, or did the wars and economy change their fortunes ( bearing in mind you are still in contact with them! LOL).

Are they in pocession of artifacts from the Shipley Hall and photo's that we have not seen?

Sadly there seems to be so little evidence left, both of artifacts and photo's and day to day memories of a Great house.
