The following may be of interest to you: John Birks married Grace Clay - July 7, 1661. Elizabeth Birkes married John Cantrill, pub, August 31, 1662. Isaac Birkes married Anna Marsh, pub, June 9, 1688. |

replied on: 2/20/2005 7:17:10 PM Hi, Dawn. Here's a couple of past burials which may help your Ancestor Tracing in the Heanor area. Joseph Birks, Bd. 1868, aged 62 - Heanor St. Lawrence. Hannah Birks, Bd. 1873, aged 66 - Heanor St. Lawrence. There are also several children, ranging from 14 weeks to 5 years of age if you require the details. Azzabuv. |

The Birks family all lived in Heanor and my grandad Eric Arthur Birks was born and married there and then moved his family here to Reading.
