Things you dont see anymore

The small back street general store of the 1930s. A few small cakes in the window with attendant flies in full sun. Two or three more flies on their backs with legs in the air. Several loaves of bread with a cat fast asleep among them. Inside the shop unwrapped sweets in jars which required a hand to be inserted (often with black fingernails) in the jar to separate them.
Yet there didn't seem to be as many ailments around then or the amount of packaging to be recycled.
