Station Road.
1947-1955.
Mr.S.Hunt.(Headmaster)
Miss.Purdy.Form.1
Mr.G.E.Holloway.Form 2(also Mr.G.Burnett)
Mr.K.Shelton.Form 3
Mr.K.Kirkham.Form 4b(R.E.)-(married Miss. Purdy's daughter)
Mr.H.V.Bailey.Form 5 (Sports-Master)
Mr.A.E.Gent.Form 6(Deputy Head)
Mr.J.W.Nettley.Form 7(Art)
Mr.Hinks.(Woodwork & Metalwork)
Mr.Webster replaced Miss.Purdy.and Mr.Perkins replaced Mr.Shelton and then Mr.Webster was replaced by Mr.Barnes in 1955. I hope that I have given these teachers their correct classes and titles.I think there may also have been a Mr.Fretwell.
