replied on: 2/23/2006 9:18:49 PM My only Brough "connection" is not really a pleasant one -Thomas henry Brough (omnibus proprietor) of Burnthouse road was the driver of the car which accidentally knocked my Great Uncle frank off his pedal cycle as he cycled home from work in 1934 Uncle frank died almost instantly. It must have been a terrible time for Mr Brough too-he sold his bus company a couple of years after that.I have the newspaprer report if of any interest to you. I also knew a brough family from Queen st langley Mill-they had one son Peter-Mr Brough was an Inspector for the MGO bus company (1950's, 60's)- they were a lovely family |
