Open up http://www.visionofbritain.org.uk/index.jsp then click on the maps button. Put Heanor in the place search box and follow the instructions. Once you have the map displayed, look in the bottom right hand corner at the map view options. Select the Ist edition OS map option and this should reveal the location of the Marlpool mill. It looks as if it was near the top of Ella Bank Road on the left going down the hill.
I have only just found the site via the GENUKI site, hope the info is of use to you.
