Robert,
I think Mr Dickie must have left and returned later-I thought it was strange -as I know he was there in 1959-and also in 1964.-and his wife taught at the school later too.
The info is from The Heanorian Oct 1962 (only year it was published in Oct -I think!!) It states " At Easter we said good bye to Mr G.R.Dickie and Mr Lindley who had taught Mathematics here for 6 and 4 years respectively. Both left to take up posts of greater responsibility, Mr Dickie at Tupton Hall Grammar School, Clay Cross."
I didn't notice him (or Lieb) at the meeting -too focussed on your talk!!!! if he attends again at least we can ask him!!
