I remember seeing the airraid shelters, or at least one of them, on the playing fields. It was blocked off in someway or other otherwise I would have had a look round. The occasion was some football game or other - could have been a testimonial for a Heanor player and they were playing against a rest of the world team, as far as I remember - I was very young at the time - went with the elder brother.
Did this game ever happen? Or am I imagining things again?!
