100 years ago in and around Heanor
replied on: 3/18/2006 8:20:08 PM Looking at 1901 census images for a family lving at 11 Church St Heanor -and after was listed what must have been uninhabited buildings-as follows: High St-National Girls School Midland Road-Christian Meeting House and Chapel Midland Rd-4 Houses unfinished Wood End Midland Railway Station Station Rd-3 Houses Building Church St- Lock up shop-saddler Market Place Public Offices Market St-Weslyan methodist Chapel Mundy St Heanor National Boys School Mundy St -2 buildings unfinished Gladstone St-4 buildings unfinished Market Place-3 Shops unfinished |
