Charles Napier houses, Aldercar

Auntie's memories of Charles napier Houses:
There were about 4 cottages-still there today, adjoining The "Napier". Mrs Wooley lived in the first one and she retired and went to live in a ground floor flat on Aldercar estate-next to the railway line. Lois Hubball, who had been landlady of the Napier lived in the flat over Mrs Woolley. Mr Rowley lived in the cottage adjoining the Napier and that cottage eventually became part of the pub.
