Heanor U.D. Council
The clerk produced a plan for erection of a new fire station, which was approved. It was unanimously decided that the site be the lower side of entrance doors to the Council’s yard and within 4ft to 6ft of the Secondary School boundary. Also that the clerk ask the Ministry of Health to sanction a loan of £2,500 to provide for the fire engine and station.
