The appearance of Mansfield Rd Heanor has been improved during the last few days by the installation of new equipment on the Notts & Derbys Traction Company's trolley vehicle overhead wiring. The new "twin line hangers" (to give their technical name) are of streamline appearance and permit an economy in the amount of galvanised strand wire and other fittings needed to support the trolley vehicle overheadline, whilst providing for improved horizontal alignment of all four copper wires."
