My recollections are in early 1950's Joan and Lewis Wilson used to give lessons in Ballroom dancing there on a Tues evening. We thought it was a very smart place as it had a ballroom with a polished wooden floor which used to be "chalked" to enable you to "glide" better during the ballroom dancing sessions. During the interval they played Rock n Roll and we were allowed to "jive".
