hi Robert, the author of the book that Santa brought you was a man by the name Owen v Watson who was a miner at coppice colliery
he wrote poems and stories,for the miners magazine.he was also brilliant cartoonist.does any one remember the chipshed on the land on chapel st where the hairdresser is now.the chips where fried in a big copper,wrapped in the daily herald or the mirror and they were lovely.
