replied on: 10/22/2006 4:50:23 PM This message may be a little late, but I note that a few people are (were?)looking for the above book. There is one for sale on www.abebooks.co.uk, although the price is £15. Karl |

'Smalley Remembered'
replied on: 4/24/2006 6:54:17 PM If anyone would like a copy of the photos scanned by Frano, just let me have your email address (by emailing me please, rather than by typing it into a post), and I shall either pass it on to him or forward them myself. And many thanks indeed to Frano for his efforts. If I come across any of the Smalley books (except for those I'm still looking for myself!) I shall try to get hold of them for stock for the Society. (To email me, just click on my name - if for any reason that doesn't work, use the Contact Us page on the main website.) Robert |

replied on: 4/21/2006 11:24:28 AM Hello Durobird I have scanned two Nagshead photo's from my copy of 'Smalley Remembered'. As there seems to be more than one interested in them perhaps it would be best for me to mail them to Robert,if he agrees? frano |

replied on: 4/19/2006 8:23:41 PM I was very lucky last week; I found a copy of “Pictures of Smalley” by Robert Turton (in good condition) plus five other books for £1.50 in a charity shop. Good hunting Jenny |

replied on: 4/19/2006 4:20:25 PM 'Smalley Remembered' was compiled by Margaret Aitken and published by Smalley Local History Group in about 1990. It is out of print. I have never found any second hand copies for sale on the internet or in book shops, but will now keep looking. Robert Turton. |

'Smalley Remembered'
replied on: 4/18/2006 9:44:21 PM Hi, I'm the original person who put the message in, trying to find this book. A friend who lives near Smalley has asked in the local post office, but they dont have any. I would still like a copy. So if anybody knows how to get one, I should still like to know as well. |

'Smalley Remembered'
replied on: 4/18/2006 6:02:54 PM I have been trying for some time to track down this book, by the same authors as 'Footsteps through Smalley', for myself and I now have had several requests for information about it. I seem to recall being told that both were available from Smalley Post Office - can anyone help me out on this? |
