Langley Infants School; was built in 1872 and 132 pupils between the ages of 5-7 attend (1976) The headmistress is Mrs M.A. Fimnett, who was trained in Canada and taught for 11 years in Toronto. After moving to theis country she taught in Kent and Derbyshire before taking up her present post. She has a staff of four.
