In Derbyshire wills Aldread is spellt Aldred on most of the ones from Ilkeston'Heanor/Belper area.
I shouldn't get too excited about a road name - I lived at Moons Yard for a time -so named because 1800's almost every house was occupied by the Moon family.
But then again roads were named after councillors, etc-in more recent parts of Heanor now the road names have an explanation underneath telling who the roads are named after! Really good idea!
