I'm almost certain that Holbrook's had a yard on the main Nottingham Road at Hilltop opposite Chewton Street and in between No 191,a Gent's hairdressers and No.193 Johnson's Newsagents. The area that I remember from 1950-1960 is now a road,Wroughton Court, leading to Alexandra House nursing home, and I do remember a building contractor Alcock & Sisson either sharing or occupying the same premises.I have friends living in this area and hopefully they may come up with something more positive which I will pass on.
