As Paul and I have both said, all the evidence points to the four clock faces not having been brought into play at the same time. But now you have a newspaper article that talks of all four of them at the start! Confused? Yes, I am! I have been through the minutes of the parochial church council, which throw no light on the subject either way. Likewise, the minutes of the original public clock committee are not clear enough. An area for more research I think. Robert
