Yes, imagine you have come out the front door of one of the cottages then across the path. You then open the gate and have a garden the width (maybe a bit more) of the cottage. They were about 50 yds deep with some tall trees forming the boundary with the cemetary. I seem to remember the trees being very tall and being a rookery as well.

It has probably lost the trees by now but that is what I remember from the mid 50s.
