There are fish dealers listed in various trade directories. Any of these could be either wet fish or fried fish dealers. The two definite and one possible are below

The earliest listed is in Bulmers 1895, a William Wilcockson of 6 Cromford Road, Langley Mill. He is described as a fried chipped potato dealer and is listed in Kellys 1912.

These two are listed in Kellys 1912, John Sims, fish and potato dealer, 15 Loscoe Road and Hebert Smith, fried fish shop, 8 High Street.
