Hiya, my great aunt, Florence Mabel L Brookes, married an Arthur Oxley in 1936. Im pretty sure Arthur was born in 1914 in Heanor. I don't know who his parents where as yet but there could be a link somewhere with the Oxley's you are searching for. Oh, i do know that Arthur's mothers maiden name was Harrison. Im in the same boat as you, i dont know that much on my Oxley family either. If you find a link let me know.

There were a set of Oxleys that were quite involved with the Church of Chirst Church in Langley between 1860 - 1930, not sure if it is the same branch.

Don't know! I am only just starting on this family and have not got any information at all yet. I do know that Uncle Reg and Auntie Evelyn used to live in Eastwood, and that they had 1 son.

When I was a kid, I lived on Leniscar Ave, in Loscoe. There was an Oxley family across the street. I think Mrs was called Dorothy and the children, Derek and Glenn. Cant remember the husbands name though. Are these people related?

My Great Aunt Evelyn Pinegar married in Jul 1936 John George Reginald Oxley, who was born about 1907, and died in 1968. This is the information I have on him apart from he had a sister Marion and that his fathers initial was 'J', this as come from a newspaper cutting celebrating their marriage.
I would love more information on the Oxley family
