Langley Mill/Aldercar School Teachers
replied on: 10/22/2006 8:56:55 PM

Hi, new to all this but I remember lots of teachers from Aldercar circa.1971-76. I remember all those posted from my era. some of these I have listed may have been mentioned before, but here are a few I dont remember seeing on the posts.
Mr Gough (drama) Great hippy type bloke who hated Ripper nearly as much as the kids.
Mrs Dyson (science)
Mrs Holden (english) very freindly with Mr. Beasley (maths) as I recall.
Mrs Renshaw (english)
Mrs williamson? (geography
Mrs Eno (music)
Miss Shimmin (probably married now)
Mr Gadsby. (metalwork) poor bloke died while I was there. Anyone remember his "cuffs" round the back of your head?
Miss Lund ( p.e.)
Mr Hall (p.e.)
Also had an R.E. teacher cant remember her name but we called her MAZDA (light of the world)
on top of that we had a french student teacher for a while in 72/73 I think her name was Madmoiselle Lovalent very pretty girl as I remember. The amount of times she sent lads out of the classroom to wait for Mr Williams (Ripper), there was hardly any of us left in it.
