Iceboy53	Red Hill Farm replied on: 11/14/2006 11:51:36 AM i remember those geese well Robert..i used to drink in the butchers arms and to get through the path at the side of what was a shop then,was a nightmare.i always thought the same people that owned the shop also owned the farm also.

I will go through other directories later this week and post anymore info. The numbering sequence may have changed over the years. RMMee Moderator	Red Hill Farm replied on: 11/7/2006 9:11:40 PM An interesting query: Any information on Red Hill Farm, Heanor or Langley Mill? Such as: When was it built? When was it demolished? Who owned the land ? Who owned the farm ? The farm was situated near the Butchers Arms, Hands Road. I believe there is a Scout Hut on the land. I have found reference to the area around the junction of Laceyfields Road and Aldreds Lane being known as Red Hill, but that is all. All contributions gratefully received!!!!
