Mainly its about the fact it used to be a farm before it was the Horse and Jockey, some very basic info about the buildings and the fact that one of their regulars was a monkey. Ironically the the placard calls is titles "The horse and Jockey"

I notice there's a plackard outside with some info on...often those sort of things tell you more about the history of a place? Mind you...am not volunteering to go have a look...I swore years ago that I'd never go in the Jockey again!

RMMee Moderator	The Jockey replied on: 1/7/2007 12:12:36 AM Has anyone else noticed that the Horse and Jockey has fully changed its name (including pub sign and the name on the outside) to just The Jockey? I know that horses sometimes unseat their riders, so I assume this is what has happened here!
