Dead right Robert,

Some records have been re-categorised since I last researched them. Coppice and Woodside now generally appear under the single 'Shipley Collieries' title.

Better results are obtained if you search for 'Miller Mundy', 'Shipley Collieries', 'Shipley Collieries Ltd.,' or 'Shipley Colliery co. Ltd.'

Most of the mining photo's originally housed at Eastwood Hall were subsequently re-housed at Kew. The photo's are now kept at Mansfield, but many appear to have disappeared into the ether, i.e. 'lost in transit'.
