Hairdressers

No idea, but can this be a general "Hairdressing" slot too?

If it can, then I'd like to mention Carole's Hairfashions which was opposite the cricket ground on Station Road prior to the present one (I think it's LJs or something similar now)

My mum used to wash hair there when the regular hairwasher Sylvia (and I'm sure all those who live in Langley Mill will remember her/still know her!) was ill or on holiday. I used to spend countless hours there in the school holidays tidying out the rollers, making tea and sweeping up! Occasionally if I was lucky I had my hair cut there too! My mum and Carole were great friends and sometimes when we went out shopping on a Wednesday afternoon (when the salon was closed) we'd go to Pompador to buy supplies!
