Wasn't the entry to ivy cottages , opposite the present Coservative Club . As you went down Ivy Lane , there was a cricket ground there , and Eastwood St Marys Cricket Club played there . I think they were captained by Rev Caporne ?? and regular players were Cyril Manchester, and Stuart Mayes . The ground and Ivy Lane have long since gone , to build the houses and area off Woodlands Way .
