Heanor St. Lawrence - Empty Tomb, etc
replied on: 2/4/2007 4:48:32 PM

Hi Azzabuv

Finally caught the tomb with the light in the right position this morning.

The Tomb was for what looks like Wm (William) and Mary

I thing their last name is Hardy, but it looks like it either says "Here lie the bodys of Wm and Mary Hardy found..." or "Here lie the bodys of Wm and Mary Hardyfound..." sorry, not sure which.

Would be worth you either talking to Winifred or the Derbyshire ancestral group to get access to the records they hold for a William and Mary who died pre 1869.

Hope it helps
