Peter

Thanks for that. So we've got John there from 1895 to 1912. Excellent. It all helps in a puzzle I'm currently working on.

And John Cope was also there in 1904 according to Kelly's Nottinghamshire Directory.

To answer the question from one reference myself...

In 1912, according to Kelly's Directory for Derbyshire, the licensee was John Cope.

I know the New Inn features in the Langley Mill pubs section, but this is a specific query - I would be really, really grateful if anyone out there can get the information for me.....

I am looking for the licensees at the pub from around 1900 to around 1913, so that includes one published census year, and who knows how many trade directories. If anyone can look them up, it would be a big help.
