Was definitely built by summer 1970 as I was going out with a boy who lived on Newthorpe Common then and it was brand new.

I think one of my great greats used to keep a pub on Newthorpe Common but stories differ as to whether it was the New Inn halfway down Newthorpe Common or further up the hill the Raglan Arms. Would be someone Smith I think.
