In 1964, the two GCE classes were transferred from Aldercar "en bloc", one into the fifth year(including me) and one into the fourth year. I wrote a short article about this in The Henorian last year called "An accidental Pupil"

The two classes were kept seperate as Aldercar had done different GCE sylabusses, but some pupils, stayed on into the 6th form.
