CAR REPAIRERS FIGHT COUNCIL

A row over a car repair buisiness in Ripley
is to be settled by a Public Inquiry on Dec 3rd.
Amber Valley Borough Council claims that the buisiness run by Mr Percy Russell and Mr Chris Pickering at 32 Wall Street Ripley is
unauthorised.
The council has issued an enforcement notice
requiring the buisiness to cease within the next 6 months because of complaints from adjacent householders.They say it is dangerous to a primarily residential area
The pair have appealed to the Secretary of State and a Government inspector will hear the case.
