Born in Codnor, which Church?
replied on: 3/19/2008 8:43:12 PM Hi Jenks and Robert Thanks for your replies and welcome to the boards Someone else suggested Selston too. They said that although it was not so near by road it was a relatively short walk across the fields. Thanks for advice anyway, It's worth a try, I've tried everything else! Simone x |

replied on: 3/13/2008 12:14:40 AM I don't really know why Selston was used so much Robert, but there is an interesting piece on the "Codnor History" topic by Suzzard. |

Born in Codnor, which Church?
replied on: 3/12/2008 3:40:56 PM Hi Hoping someone can advise? I am trying to trace a Hannah Barker born at Codnor 1809-1811ish. Which church would someone be likely to use for baptism at this time? I am trying to find out who her parents were. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks Simone x |
