A local query:

"We live in Castle Lane, and at the end of our drive there are a number of foundations. We have been told that many years ago there was a small community on this site which included a slaughter house and butchers we would be very interested to find out any history and or photographs of how the area looked and worked then, I am hoping you may help with this and thank you in anticipation."
