Better than I could trace before, at least I have a secondary source and a date now!

Can you tell me...how does one confirm or deny IGI member records that have been sourced from the internet like family search...becuause my entire family is british and I'm all the way over here in Australia and none of my living relies live in the counties of interest how best does one search records before 1837?

Until I found this forum, it was extremely difficult to be positive about linking names in my tree?
