replied on: 4/10/2008 4:31:48 PM On the subject of "ladies' drinks," I remember going with my brother and his girlfriend to the Sportsman in Codnor, some time in the mid/late 1970's. The girlfriend was refused a pint as they wouldn't serve them to ladies! I can't see that happening now. |
